Our Lady’s & St Mochua’s Primary School is set in the heart of Derrynoose, a rural community, that is rich in life and spirit.  The school opened in September 2003 and has achieved excellence in many areas of school life since.  This has been recognised by two highly successful school inspections in 2008 and 2015.  In 2014 we were selected as a Changemaker School, a new innovative programme run by Dublin City University, to identify, connect, and support innovative primary schools on the island of Ireland.  Our Lady’s & St Mochua’s is one of only eleven schools throughout Ireland to be part of this prestegious network.
