Mrs Murray Retires 2012

A special mass was held recently in the school hall to celebrate the retirement of Mrs Siobhan Murray after 25 years teaching in the Derrynoose community at St Mochua's and Our Lady's and St Mochua's.  The mass was attended by Key Stage Two pupils, parents, past pupils, colleagues and the school Board of Governors.  Mrs Murray was presented with gifts from school pupils, parents and staff members to show their appreciation for her hard work over the last 25 years.  Thanks to Fr Seamus Rice for leading the celebration mass.

 A word from Mrs Murray:

I would like to thank all present and past parents and children of Derrynoose for the kindness and generosity they have shown me down the years and especially on the occasion of my retirement.  I will always have a place in my heart for Derrynoose and its people.

Siobhan Murray
